I write now because I thought you might enjoy an update on this major surgery.
At this point, some 12 years post surgery, I can report that my knee is still in excellent shape and gives me not the least trouble. In fact, I often refer to my right knee as my “good knee” these days. Six months after surgery I resumed running and did so for several more years, stopping only when I developed running related pain in my left knee. While I can no longer run, I still walk and hike pain free, which I do frequently on the many wonderful trails in the eastern Cascasdes and Central Oregon, our home since 2005.
I am also writing to thank you again for the wonderful service you provided me. I am truly grateful to have guessed right in choosing you for my surgery. I’m also pretty happy that you decided to proceed with these corrective surgeries instead of the alternative option of closing my incisions and sending me home to wait until my knee became bad enough to undergo knee joint replacement.
